St. Louis,Mo Restaurant Reviews
Landry's Seafood Restaurant
Located in the old train station just outside downtown off of Jefferson Street, Landry's sits amongst dozens of shops, a train museum and other restaurants. Although from the outside it appears to be a 'fast-food casual' type of establishment, Landry's serves up an excellent variety of entrees including fresh fish, scallops, shrimp and other related dishes in a pleasant family atmosphere with nautical memorabilia fringing the booths. Order the Hemingway dinner - it is tender, flaky and delicious. It's a great place for a date, casual lunch or a family dinner.
Carmine's Steak House
If you're really craving a steak, you know nothing else will do. In an elegant atmosphere with superior service, Carmine's downtown prepares several prime cuts of beef in a variety of selections. We ordered the filet mignon and it was superb! Salads and accompanying appetizers are varied and delicious. This is a dressy-casual atmosphere (many of the men were in full suits). Carmine's is a treasure - discover it for yourself.
